looking for repetition- abstract expressionism

Abstract Expressionism:
Mark Tobey- Echoes of Broadway 1964
a. color, line, texture, shape.
b. i think this sits closer to contrast, because while there is repetition with the white shapes and lines it looks visually chaotic.
c. to me it makes it look chaotic and yet it makes me focus on the middle were there is an abundance of lines.

(to the right) Advance of History 1964
a. line, color, shape
b. contrast, because the repetition creates chaos.
c. the contrast in color makes me focus on that, but it does look very chaotic.

Lousie Nevelson: White Vertical Water-1972
 (to left)
a. shape, texture, line.
b. seems harmoniously, because it looks like water.
c. the shapes create continuance and seem to flow like water.

                                               Luminous Zag: Night (1971)
                                               a. shape, line
                                               b. harmony- all the patterns in the squares are orderly.                                   c. i really just like looking in all the different squares to see all the different patterns.
